Lovely, Wren. Rocks make me think of Jensen, of finding Jesus in his creation, of watching kids find Jesus where they least expect him, of taking our findings and placing them before the Lord as an offering of praise. Perhaps I should be more like Gavin, holding onto something “strong and steady” through the hours of life regardless of the teasing I get or how much I think I need both hands. He’s a smart kid.

I am so glad to have another way to keep up with you, Grant, and Gavin. We miss the weekly time we spent with you. You are so inspiring to me. I have purchased many cool journals over the years with the intent of journaling at least weekly, and have always failed. I thought it would be nice for the girls to have someday when I am gone. We have a cool one from Craig’s grandma that tells random things about the family happenings, as well as prices of such items as gas, milk, bread in that day. Maybe one day I will truly put my heart into it and write. For now, I will enjoy reading your writings.

My sister and my wife both inspire me! Two different mommy-paths, two amazing women handling it so very well.

I’m glad your first week back went wonderfully for you, Erin (minus the getting sick part!). It’s great fun watching Gavin grow in pictures. I’m hoping we can make another visit happen sooner rather than later.

p.s. – Jude seems to be VERY interested in babies these days. You should ask him about what he thinks of baby brothers and baby sisters! It’s adorable.

Thanks It helps to have friends/family who are encouraging and also examples for us! We’ve learned so much by being able to interact with others who have young children. It’s such a journey but so much fun and worth every minute!!
